About the Curators 

Inés Ixierda is a queer disabled Mestizx visual artist and media maker creating subversive graphic narratives, anarchafeminist propaganda, and casting decolonial protection spells in Oakland, CA, unceded Ohlone land.

Xtal Azul is a queer xicanx interdisciplinary artist, writer, arts educator, and brujx plant-magic maker, whose work centers themes of queerness, neurodivergence, ritual, and the body.

SOMArts is wheelchair accessible, and in proximity to several nearby public transportation stops. SOMArts does not have automatic doors at its Main Entrance.

Two accessible parking spots are available on-site during regular gallery hours and most events, except when signs are posted and the back area lot is being used for artistic programming.
