Inspired by Grace Lee Boggs, whose philosophical call-to-action urges us to think dialectically about working in the service of “a higher Humanity instead of [a] higher standard of living,” Grow Our Souls engages twelve artists– Astria Suparak, Cindy Shih, Connie Zheng, Diana Li, Jess X Snow, Kacy Jung, Monica Tie, Nancy Sayavong, Preetika Rajgariah, Rea Lynn de Guzman, Sheng Lor, and Trinh Mai– in an ambitious conversation about labor in the context of U.S. imperialism and global capitalism.
