The COVID-19 virus travels in the air and collects indoors: Your risk is much higher indoors. The virus can spread more than six feet. Older adults and those with health risks should avoid indoor settings with crowds.
Monkeypox can be spread through person-to-person contact including: direct contact with the infectious rash, scabs, or body fluids, respiratory secretions during prolonged, face-to-face contact, or during intimate physical contact and/or touching items that previously touched an infectious rash or body fluids.
