Join us for the all-ages exhibition unveiling and opening reception on Friday, October 6, 6–9 PM PST!
Curated by Rio Yañez and Bridgétt Rex, The Hummingbird’s Visit is fluttering in symbolism. Representing a bridge between the living and the dead where we can connect to those we have lost, artists are invited to create contemporary and traditional altar installations that honor, celebrate, and mourn those whose work, vision, and brilliance have helped to shape our lives.
Along with the exhibition unveiling, this evening features curatorial remarks, Día de Los Muertos-inspired vendor market with local artisans, and performances.
